.hack//G.U. Last Recode to receive a physical edition

Today, Bandai Namco announced .hack//G.U. Last Recode will be receiving a physical version of the game on the PlayStation 4 in North America.

This will be in addition to the already-announced digital version of the game for PlayStation 4 and PC (the latter of which will remain digital-only).

Europe was already confirmed to be receiving the game in both physical and digital formats, so this is simply a confirmation that America will be treated to the same benefits.

For those unaware, .hack//G.U. Last Recode is a collection of all three .hack//G.U. action RPG titles - Rebirth, Reminisce, and Redemption with updated 1080p resolution, 16:9 widescreen picture, and 60fps frame rate, gameplay balance changes, and additional features to be announced at a later date. Whether you're a fan or a newcomer, that's a pretty solid deal.

.hack//G.U. Last Recode will be released for the PlayStation and PC via Steam later this year.
