Wii date and price?

Although Nintendo are keeping their cards close, MCV, one of the largest, biggest, and best in the industry, make pretty certain claims on Nintendo's new Wii console and it's released in the UK.

According to MCV, the Wii will launch in the UK on November 24th, and be priced at a low of just $149, with no shortage of consoles for anyone. It is also anticipated that there will be a release to coincide with Thanksgiving in the US.

The price makes the Wii $50 cheaper than the cheaper, core model of Microsoft's Xbox 360, and a whopping $275 cheaper than the PS3's estimated price.

However, nothing is to be taken as fact until Nintendo's official announcement, scheduled for Thursday September 14th in the US and Japan, followed by Friday September 15th in Europe. However, if MCV's estimates are indeed correct, the Wii is sure to enjoy a well-profiting launch and Christmas period.
