Bandai Namco and DONTNOD are working on a new adventure game

Thanks to the folks at MCV, we now know that publisher Bandai Namco is teaming up with Life Is Strange developer DONTNOD for a brand new adventure game.

Since we won't find out more information about this project until next year, as you can imagine, the details are still slim at the moment. What we do know is that this will once again be "a new narrative adventure experience" set in a fictional city in the United States. It will also include "a fair dose of investigation" with a dive into the emotions and psychology of the characters.

DONTNOD feels like they've struck gold in the release of Life Is Strange, so they're looking to capitalize on their success by focusing more on their strengths as a creator.

It should be noted this project will not affect the scheduled releases of other games in their catalog including Vampyr and their new Life Is Strange game as they're being worked on other internal team members.
