Atlus will now publish its own titles in Europe
Atlus has recently announced that it has set up its own publishing team in London, meaning they will no longer rely on third-party publishers such as Deep Silver or Square Enix to publish games in Europe.
This decision was part of the company's acquisition by Sega, with the new team featuring commercial director Simon Inch, soon after to be joined by a new PR manager and a product marketing manager. They will all operate outside of Sega Europe.
For long-time european fans this is nothing but good news: Atlus will finally be able to offer the same amount and type of services and products in Europe, which were often restricted to North America and other areas only. Atlus US' senior PR manager labels this move as a representation of the company's growth, placing the company in a significantly better position to provide the needs of all markets for their titles.
