Mary Skelter: Nightmares - Four more character overviews and Blood Meter details
Idea Factory International has provided an information update for dungeon crawler Mary Skelter: Nightmares, introducing various elements of the battle system and four more Blood Maidens.
Party members in Mary Skelter: Nightmares are known as Blood Maidens, and they have two meters you need to pay attention to. When enemies met in the Jail are 'Overkilled', the blood splatter fills up the Blood Meter. When this meter is full, that Maiden will enter Massacre mode, which strengthens their power during battle.
However, damage taken by to the party and character KO's fill the Corruption Meter. When this meter fills to full, the Blood Maiden then loses control and enters Blood Skelter mode. This is a berserk mode where the Blood Maiden powers up but will attack enemies and allies alike. Only Jack's unique 'Mary Gun' can take Maidens out of Blood Skelter mode.

Thumbelina
The oldest of the three Blood Maiden sisters. She pushes Jack around and is so prideful that she can't even compliment him.
Snow White
The second oldest of the three sisters. She has a gentle personality and is kind to Jack. Despite her best intentions, she ends up complicating things. She's afraid of looking into mirrors.
Sleeping Beauty
The youngest of the three sisters. She's comforting to Jack when he feels down. She's almost always sleepy, so she expresses most opinions with a simple nod or by shaking her head.
Kaguya
A lazy Blood Maiden who spends most of her time in her room. She uses her special ride, Bamboo 1, to move around or to fight. It takes a while for her to open up to Jack.
