Tetracast - Episode 78: Destiny Too
Welcome to the latest edition of the Tetracast, RPG Site's weekly podcast!
Before we get into allll the news of the week, we like to talk about the games we've been playing! Adam looks to wrap up his playthrough of the Etrian Odyssey series by sharing his thoughts on Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millenium Girl, the remake of the first entry. Meanwhile, James shares his perspective on Destiny 2 and the simple mechanics of Monster Hunter Stories. Josh chats a bit about Absolver, the fighting RPG, and Zack doesn't feel too great about Mary Skelter.
Nintendo blew the doors off what was expected to be a relatively quiet week by announcing a Nintendo Direct on Monday for September 13. There, they talked about Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Fire Emblem Warriors, Alliance Alive, and finally some details on Octopath Traveler (along with a wonderful demo). You can bet that dominated our news coverage of this week. But while that is certainly the biggest topic, there were also some other important pieces worth mentioning.
Nihon Falcom quietly announced PlayStation 4 versions of Trails of Cold Steel 1 and 2 are currently under development. Speaking of Falcom, NIS America made the unfortunate reveal that the PC version of Ys VIII has been indefinitely delayed due to technical issues. Also worth mentioning, a remastered version of Dragon's Crown is heading to PlayStation 4. Sidescrolling beat em ups make a return! That and more in our latest episode!
This edition of the Tetracast features Adam Vitale, Josh Torres, James Galizio, and is hosted by Zack Reese. As always, you can find links to the full episode of the podcast below along with our RSS feed, and also subscribe to us on iTunes.
