Persona 5 development underway

Persona 4's producer Katsura Hasino has revealed that development on a fifth proper Persona game is now being developed over at Atlus now that the remake of Persona 3 for the PSP is done and dusted.

"We are preparing to start work on the next Persona," Hasino told Dengeki Playstation, promising that the development team would bring fresh elements to the series as well as the elements that are "expected of the series."

Back in 2009 the title was accidentally listed on Sony's official website for Playstation 3. Persona 4 was released on the PS2, and was named our top 2008 game of 2009 back in January.
