Wii Details confirmed.
Today at a Nintendo Japanese press conference, Satoru Iwata revealed that the Wii will launch on the 2nd of December, with a retaal price of 25,000 Yen ($212.50 USD, £112.60 GBP and €167). The US price was also confirmed by the New York Times as $250 and given a release date of Nov. 19th.
As shown by the packaging, every Wii console will ship with a copy of Wii Sports. Retail games are priced at $50, while virual console games are priced at $10, $8 and $5 for N64, SNES and NES games respectively. Super Mario 64, Super Mario World, Donkey Kong and Legend of Zelda will all be available at launch.
The 'Wiimote' and the attachable analogue nunchuk will be available separately for $39.99 and $19.99 respectively.

New Mario and Metroid games will be released for the Wii in 2007.
No European of Australian launch dates have been confirmed, however, Nintendo plans to ship 4 million consoles worldwide and 6 million by the 31st of March 2007.
