Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption gets a release date and a new trailer
The Souls franchise has inspired a good number of titles in different forms, and Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption is the latest addition to that list. The action RPG by indie studio Dark Star is set for release on April 24, 2018 for the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Steam.
You will take the role of Adam, who is a relic from a forgotten kingdom. He is branded with a heavy sin and desperately seeks redemption to save his own soul. The game's mechanics may be souls-inspired, but its art direction goes for a more fantastical, cel-shaded quality. You will face eight unique bosses, with the first seven based on the deadly sins. Before each boss battle starts, Adam has to sacrifice one of his stats to level down. Various weapon types are available in the world at your disposal.
