Monster Hunter: World to go into open beta for PS4 users on December 22 to 26

After holding a beta exclusively for PlayStation Plus members last weekend, Capcom recently announced they will be holding yet another beta for Monster Hunter: World. Only this time, Capcom announced that all PlayStation 4 owners will have a chance to participate!

Those who would like to participate in this open beta will be able to pre-load the beta starting December 18. Those who already have the beta client from the aforementioned PS Plus session will be able to use the same client.

The beta will begin on December 22 at 9:00 AM PST (12:00 PM EST, 5:00 PM GMT, 6:00 PM CET), and end on December 26 at 9:00 AM PST (same time).

Monster Hunter: World is set to be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One worldwide on January 26, 2018. It will be PS4 exclusive in Japan. While a PC version has been announced, it will be released at a later date. Capcom also recently revealed the game will be getting free post-release updates with new monsters and other content.
