Alpha Protocol goes Gold

Sega's announced that Obsidian's espionage RPG Alpha Protocol has gone gold and is now entering the manufacturing stage so that the game will be ready for its release on May 28th in Europe and June 1st in the US.

Obsidian are a studio with plenty of RPG pedigree, but Alpha Protocol bears a striking resemblance to Bioware's Mass Effect series with a similar style of dialogue choices, action-packed combat and a deep, branching storyline.
