Death end re;Quest gets delayed to April 12 in Japan

Compile Heart has announced that Death end re ;Quest is getting delayed from March 1 to April 12 in Japan. Although they didn't specify a detailed reason why this game gets delayed, they are offering swimsuit costumes as free DLC to compensate for this delay.

The swimsuit costumes are originally planned as a reward DLC if a lot of people in Japan preordered this game. In the campaign page, it was listed as an S rank reward, just one rank shy of the currently achieved A rank. However, with this news, this DLC will be available for free to all players regardless of the status of this campaign.

Death end re ;Quest is being released exclusively for PlayStation 4 in Japan. As of this news, an English localization has not been announced yet. You can watch the opening movie of the game right now.
