Final Fantasy: The Four Heroes of Light gets a US release date

Square Enix USA have confirmed that Final Fantasy: The Four Heroes of Light will be releasing in the USA on October 5th 2010 for the Nintendo DS.

Square Enix Europe confirmed an Autumn/Fall release earlier today and also released the first screenshots of the game, though the US side of Square Enix has given a final, firm release date.

The game is a throwback to Final Fantasy titles of old and tells the story of Brandt, a young boy who sets out on a journey of self-discovery with four friends only to find himself and his small band of heroes tasked with saving the world from evil. Sounds a lot like Final Fantasy I, then.

The game will undoubtedly be at E3, so stick with us for our impressions!
