Valkyria Chronicles announced for the Nintendo Switch
Sega took to Twitter to deliver some surprising news this morning. The first entry in the Valkyria Chronicles series will be making its way to the Nintendo Switch sometime this fall in Japan through the Nintendo eShop. It will be priced at 1,990 yen.
This will, of course, be the Valkyria Chronicles Remastered edition that was already released on the PlayStation 4 and PC. That means all of the DLC that was ever made for the initial game will be included with this one.
At the same time, Sega also revealed that Nintendo Switch version of Valkyria Chronicles 4 has been delayed to this fall in the territory as well, back from a previously scheduled summer 2018 release. Those who pick up a copy of the game will receive a coupon that will reduce the price of Valkyria Chronicles on the Nintendo Switch way down to only 500 yen.
All of this information is for Japan, only - there is no word on an English localization for Valkyria Chronicles 1 on the Switch.
