New Gundam Breaker will let you attach more Builders Parts than before

Bandai Namco has published another information batch for New Gundam Breaker at the latest Weekly Famitsu magazine. Other than confirming more mobile suit Gunpla additions, this batch also confirms new enemy bosses as well as more customization features.

New Mobile Suit Gunplas

• GN-001/hs-A01D Gundam Avalanche Exia' (Dash) - from Mobile Suit Gundam 00V: Battlefield Record
  Excels in melee attacks with Trans-Am, and in high-speed maneuvers with the Dash Unit.
   
• SB-011 Star Burning Gundam - from Gundam Build Fighters: GM's Counterattack
  Has numerous attack techniques, such as the finisher Hyper Star Burning Knuckle which guarantees parts removal when hit.
   
• RX-78AL Atlas Gundam - from Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt
  It can do high-speed maneuvers with the Sub-Leg Flight Mode. Players should try to remove this part [from an enemy] and try out the usefulness of that skill by themselves.
   
• MSN-04II Nightingale - from Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack - Beltorchika's Children
  Has a powerful Mega Particle Cannon, Funnels, grapple attacks from its Hidden Arms, and also a Barrier Skill among others.

New Enemy Bosses

• Hashmal - Mobile Armor from Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans
  An annoying boss which can launch powerful beams, has a Wire Blade that moves unpredictably, and can also summon Plumas.
   
• Ptolemaios II - Warship from Mobile Suit Gundam 00
  Will fire GN cannons from altitude so high that can't be even reached by jumping. The chance to dish melee damage will come when it descends to lower altitude.

Customization Features

• Builders Parts
  These customization parts are returning from Gundam Breaker 3. You can attach antennas or additional armaments to any Gunpla body parts. Their angles and sizes can also be adjusted.
  While Gundam Breaker 3 only let you equip up to 7 Builders Parts, Famitsu reveals that in New Gundam Breaker you can have up to 8 of them, which means one more than before. Builders Parts do not have additional skills as they will only alter parameter stats.
   
• Battle BGM Setlist
  New Gundam Breaker has a new feature that lets you set a playlist of BGMs to play when using the customized Gunpla in battles.
  Note that a custom soundtrack feature is not confirmed with this information yet. As a side note, Gundam Breaker 3 used to have Radios as Builders Parts which let you toggle the battle BGM from predetermined playlists.

Famitsu also introduces a new character in the story, named Sie Aida (voiced by Maaya Uchida) who will become a teacher in the Gunbre Academy High School. Her role or personality have not been clarified further though.

New Gundam Breaker will be released for PlayStation 4 and Steam worldwide on June 22. Note that the Japanese PS4 version will be released one day earlier on June 21. You can read more of our coverages on the Famitsu interview translation and pretty heroines that can be dated with.
