Four Heroes of Light hits Europe on October 8th

Square Enix Europe has announced that Final Fantasy: The Four Heroes of Light is to arrive in Europe on October 8th.

The Nintendo DS-based Final Fantasy spin-off takes the series back to its roots with simplistic gameplay and a whimsical art style that is meant to mimic the simplicity of the NES Final Fantasy titles before everything went a bit serious and story focused.

It launched to little fanfare in Japan, but Square are hoping that the nostalgia factor will promote more success in the West.
