Terra Wars closed beta registration opens for Japan

In a new development regarding its latest PC and mobile game, developer Mistwalker has announced that the closed beta registration for Terra Wars has gone up for Android users in Japan. It is all being handled through a Google Doc form you can fill out if you're interested.

While we still know very little regarding the title since it was first announced almost a year ago, we do know it's being co-developed with studio Arzest (Terra Battle, Yoshi's New Island), and that it will take characters from the Terra Battle series and animates them using a different kind of claymation design.

Despite having a closed beta, there is also no word on a release date for Terra Wars or whether it will receive a western localization. Of course, we'll share any news on that front if it happens.
