New Gundam Breaker Setup Mode Trailer shows how to make your own Gunpla
Bandai Namco has published a detailed Setup Mode footage from the English version of New Gundam Breaker on their official Southeast Asian YouTube channel. This video, which is almost 10 minutes long, gives a visual rundown on one of the game's most appealing points: the ability to create your own Gundam mobile suit by combining and painting Gunpla model kit parts.
Gunpla parts come in two sizes: 1/144 & 1/100, and you will be able to freely mix parts from both sizes. New Gundam Breaker also brings back the Builders Parts that add more accents to your mech, and it adds one more slot that you can attach compared to its prequel, Gundam Breaker 3, where you could attach up to 7 extra parts.
You can then paint the Gunpla parts in whole or separately, and there are even multiple camouflage patterns available to apply. Finally, once you've finished your creation, you can take screenshots in Gallery mode and share them with the world, after having posed the Gunpla by using one of the 64 preset poses and over 20 background images.
New Gundam Breaker will be released for PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam worldwide on June 22. Note that the Japanese PS4 version is coming out one day earlier on June 21.
