Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth is now available on smartphones in North America and Europe

In what can only be deemed as an unceremonious release, Square Enix has abruptly released Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth to smartphone devices in the west without any fanfare to speak of. It may be available only for certain regions, so for now, we'll just confirm it's out in North America and Europe for Android via Google Play and iOS via the App Store.

Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth has a first week promotion where you can purchase the game for $15.99. After June 5th, the price will return to its standard $17.99 tag.

MYTHOS

STORY

GATHER YOUR EINHERJAR

Odin has tasked you with gathering Einherjar, the souls of worthy, and offering them to the gods as able warriors.

-Recruit Einherjar
Perform Spiritual Concentration from the overworld to find fallen souls, then visit them to witness the circumstances of their fates and recruit them.

-Develop Einherjar in Combat
Fight alongside your Einherjar, and sharpen their skills and abilities to enhance their value as warriors.

-Send Einherjar to Asgard
Once they are worthy, send the warriors forth to the heavens, making sure they are suitably equipped for the great war.

-Hear of Their Exploits
Learn how your Einherjar have fared in Asgard at the end of each chapter.

We also know about the previously-shared added features for this version of the game including the save-anywhere and autosave functions, auto battle for combat, and booster options available for an extra fee. It also has virtual controls on the screen itself for you to guide Lenneth around, which isn't... the best, but that's what they decided to go with.
