Alpha Trailer & Demo Walkthrough for The Bard's Tale IV: Barrows Deep
inXile Entertainment (Wasteland 2 and Torment: Tides of Numenera) has posted both a short alpha trailer and a 23-minute demo walkthrough for The Bard's Tale IV: Barrows Deep. inXile also launched a new official website for the game, which you can find here.
The Bard's Tale IV is a Kickstarted revival of the classic Bard's Tale dungeon crawling series developed by Interplay in the late 1980s. Although inXile released an unrelated Bard's Tale spinoff for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox in 2004 (later ported to PS4, Vita, and Steam), Barrows Deep returns to a first-person dungeon crawling gameplay format. The 2015 crowdfunding campaigned has raised more than 1.5 million dollars and Brian Fargo, the founder of Interplay and current CEO of inXile, helms the development of The Bard's Tale IV.
