New Code Vein Trailer Introduces the Blood Veil Ivy

In midst of the E3 madness, Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for their upcoming action RPG Code Vein. Set to release later this year, Code Vein puts the player in a dangerous world, fighting for survival as they attempt to regain the main character's memories. Blood Veils are tools that will help with gaining the upper hand, as they can help you absorb blood from monsters and launch powerful moves.

Code Vein's latest trailer introduces the Blood Veil Ivy. This tool type is extremely useful for getting the jump on the enemy, as it can go underground and release some spiky pain from below. As Namco points out, "They say the most dangerous weapon is the one you don't see coming..."

Ivy isn't the only Blood Veil that's available to players. For example, the Ogre Blood Veil is practically the opposite of Ivy, where you annihilate enemies with sheer brute force.

Code Vein releases on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 28.
