Update: Fallout 76 is a Fully Online Game, Release Date and Beta Announced
Bethesda has revealed more concrete information on the upcoming Fallout 76, which recieved a teaser earlier today at Microsoft's conference. The biggest piece of news? This latest title of the Fallout 76 will be a fully online experience. It's difficult to tell at this time if this is a full-on MMO, but you can team up (or kill) other players in the landscape of West Virginia. Players can also play the game solo and shun the help of others, but this game is made for multiplayer play.
There will be a number of interesting features in Fallout 76, including the ability to build your own home. Best be careful though, as baddies can come and ruin your community, or someone might just come by with a nuke and blow everything up. The world is your oyster, but it's not a friendly one.
Bethesda has released a number of screenshots for their latest game, and they look beautiful:
As per Fallout standards, there's a nice special edition to go with the release of Fallout 76:
That's not all! Players can sign up for a beta of Fallout 76 at Bethesda's website, and give the game an early try.
Finally, we have a firm release date. Fallout 76 will be releasing November 14 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. You can pre-order the standard edition PS4 and XBO versions on Amazon now.
