Several "Tales of" Titles Announced
For those of you not in the know, the "Tales" series is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. And to honor that storied history, Namco Bandai has recently announced in the latest issue of "Weekly Shonen Jump" that three brand new titles will be released in Japan.
First off, a new TO title will be making its way onto the PlayStation 3. Not much is known about the title (not even its name, if it even has one), and only some concept art was shown in the latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump. No release date has been set for this title.
Secondly, "Tales of Graces" will be making its debut on the PlayStation 3 as well, a port from the Nintendo Wii version, and will include new costumes and new story elements. Going by the magazine scans, the graphics haven't improved that much, but I am sure the gameplay will be a lot smoother with the greater amount of horsepower that Sony's PS3 offers. "Tales of Graces" for the PS3 will be released in 2011.
Thirdly, the "Tales of the World" Radiant Mythology" series continues with its third installment on the Playstation Portable (PSP). Like the other entries, "Radiant Mythology 3" will feature characters from various other "Tales" games. The game is set to be released in Japan sometime in 2011.
This is great news for loyal Sony gamers who bought the Playstation 3 in the first place in order to experience the same great amount of RPGs that the Playstation 2 received. It looks like the console is finally hitting its stride in providing the fanboys exactly what they wanted. Stay tuned to RPGSite as we discover more about these titles and future RPGs!

UPDATE: According to a posting by Namco Games on their Facebook page, there are currently no plans to release a North American version of "Tales of Graces". Of course, if there is enough fan feedback, I am sure their Japanese compatriots will reconsider. Start sending those emails!
