Code Vein's Louis character trailer has been published by Bandai Namco

After previously publishing trailers for Mia and Yakumo, Bandai Namco has followed up with the promotion pattern for Code Vein and published one more new character trailer this week, featuring one of the Buddy characters Louis, whose Japanese voice actor is Kaito Ishikawa.

Louis is a balanced type who, while mainly prefers close-range combat, can also attack with Gifts. He takes a moderate range against enemies and launches hit-and-run tactics with his high attack speed, which also makes him have high survivability. He prefers equipment that, despite having short ranges, also allows speedy attacks. This is evident from his weapons of choice: the Single-Handed Sword and the Ogre Blood Veil.

Furthermore, when Louis enters Concentration mode, he can inflict the Slow ailment with his attacks. The enemies hit will be weakened further, putting your pair in more advantage.

Examples of Gifts that can be used by Louis:

• Blade Dance: Temporarily increases attack power each time damage is dealt towards enemies. This means Louis' attacks become stronger during combos. The player can notice this when they do attacks that easily flinch enemies and Louis follows up afterward.

Co-op Gift with Louis (available when he is your buddy):

• Phantom Gain: Temporarily sacrifices defense stat to increase attack & evasion stats, altering evasive maneuvers.

Code Vein is going to be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam in Japan on September 27 and in the West on September 28.
