Rinoa Heartilly gets added to Dissidia Final Fantasy

At the latest Dissidia Final Fantasy live stream, Square Enix has revealed that the newest character to join the Dissidia Final Fantasy roster is none other than Final Fantasy VIII's very own Rinoa Heartilly. The heroine of the 8th Final Fantasy game is the latest character to join post-release after FFXII's Vayne and FFVI's Locke have been added previously.

Rinoa is categorized as a Shoot-type character and she will primarily use her Blaster Edge to shoot her opponents from a distance. She also has Angel Wings which lets her use magic spells like Firaga after activating them. She can even call her dog Angelo which will help her by rushing towards her opponents. It is also announced that Rinoa will be voiced in Japanese by the famous voice actress Kana Hanazawa.

Final Fantasy VIII's Rinoa Heartilly will be added to Dissidia Final Fantasy's arcade version on July 12, and also the PlayStation 4 game Dissidia Final Fantasy NT in late August.
