The Atelier Arland trilogy is coming to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on September 20 in Japan
Gust has made a surprise reveal of a current-gen port of the Atelier Arland trilogy in a live stream by Dengeki that was originally intended for the upcoming Atelier spinoff game Nelke and the Legendary Alchemists. Here they announced that they are going to release the Atelier Arland trilogy for current-gen consoles.
The Arland trilogy is comprised of Atelier Rorona, Atelier Totori, and Atelier Meruru, which were sequentially released first on PlayStation 3 from 2009 to 2011. All three games later received a Plus re-release on PlayStation Vita afterward, which added some more new content.
These new releases for PS4 and Switch have a new DX moniker and will include all DLC that was sold previously. A 3-in-1 pack is also available so you can get all three titles in the trilogy at once. The physical releases will come with a serial code which lets you download an original soundtrack of the respective titles.
Atelier: Alchemists of Arland 1-2-3 DX, which includes Atelier Rorona, Totori, and Meruru in one package, will be released for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan on September 20.
