Wasteland 2 Director's Cut - Nintendo Switch Introduction Trailer
Nintendo and InXile Entertainment have released a new trailer formally introducing 2014 CRPG Wasteland 2: Director's Cut for Nintendo Switch. The port was originally teased by InXile Founder Brian Fargo last December, with no official announcement until now. While no release date has been set, the game is set to release sometime this Fall.
Wasteland 2 began life as a Kickstarter campaign back in 2012, raising nearly 3 million dollars for the classic isometric style 'CRPG', with a PC release following in 2014. The game re-released in 2015 with a Director's Cut upgrade as well as console ports for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This Nintendo Switch port will not contain any touchscreen capabilities in portable mode.
Wasteland 3 is currently in development at InXile, having completed a successful crowdfunding campaign through Fig in 2016.
