Bandai Namco announces Free-to-Play MMORPG Bless Unleashed for Xbox One
Bandai Namco has announced Bless Unleashed, a free-to-play MMORPG that is set to be released first for Xbox One in early 2019. The game is being developed by Round 8 Studio of NEOWIZ using Unreal Engine 4.
Bless Unleashed is stated to include combo-driven MMORPG gameplay with both PvE and PVP modes in a persistent open world. Five classes will be available for players, with the example classes announced being Mage and Berserker. Bless Unleashed hands-on demos will also be on-hand during PAX West at Booth #2323 & 2335 throughout the 4-day event.
NEOWIZ, a Korean publisher, released Bless Online in Early Access on Steam earlier this year. Unlike the newly announced Bless Unleashed, it's worth noting that Bless Online is not free-to-play and is developed by Neowiz Bliss Studio rather than Round 8 Studio. Also unlike Bless Unleashed, Bless Online was made in Unreal Engine 3. It's a bit unclear how exactly how the two games relate other than by franchise name.
