Disgaea 4 Announced, Dated, Trailered

After months of rumours and speculation about the existence of the game, Nippon Ichi today confirmed Disgaea 4 at their Tokyo Game Show Press Conference. 

Once again the tactical RPG is PS3 exclusive, and this time features high-definition sprites rather than blocky ones and some crazy-looking new gameplay features, many of which involve picking up other characters, a staple of the Disgaea series.

Nippon Ichi also confirmed to RPG Site that the game would arrive in Japan on February 24th. North America will get it in "Summer 2011", while they hope a European release will be "soon after" that. Check out the trailer below.
