Tetracast - Episode 136: The Future of the Western RPG
Welcome to the latest edition of the Tetracast, RPG Site's weekly podcast!
Before we get into the big topics of the last week, we always like to talk about the games we have been playing. Bryan shares his final thoughts on Darksiders III after dropping his review earlier this week, a game that takes a lot of inspiration from the Souls series, while Zack talks about his foray into that very same Soulsborne universe with Bloodborne.
And then we get into the news of the week! It's yet another bit of a slow week for news considering the time of year we're currently in, but there's still some important highlights worthy of discussion. That includes BioWare teasing about additional news regarding the Dragon Age series to be divulged sometime this month, mostly likely during The Game Awards when a new Anthem trailer will also premiere. Speaking of the TGAs, it's been confirmed Obsidian Entertainment will reveal their next RPG there as well. Finally, Idea Factory revealed Record of Agarest War Mariage will finally see a western localization after being released only for Japan on the PSP back in 2012. All that and more, including a special message, on the latest edition of the Tetracast!
This edition of the Tetracast features Bryan Vitale (@zeomassicot) and is hosted by Zack Reese (@zackreese). As always, you can find links to the full episode of the podcast below along with our RSS feed, and also subscribe to us on iTunes or Google Play.
