Radiant Historia Announced for North America
Atlus USA announced today that Radiant Historia would be making its way to North American shores on February 22, 2011. This news comes only weeks after the game saw its domestic release in Japan.
Atlus USA didn't provide many details, but the game itself focuses on time travel. The player must alter the past in order to better the future.
Regarding the battle system, enemies are visible on field and you can chose to avoid them or engage them. Once in battle, characters and enemies are placed in a common grid system, taking turns to perform attacks.
By far the most interesting thing to note about Radiant Historia, is the staff working on it. Satoshi Takayashiki and Hiroshi Konishi who worked on Tri-Ace's Radiata Stories did the main world and character designs. Members who also worked on games such as Shin Megami Tensei Strange Journey were involved. Radiant Historia's score was composed by famed Kingdom Hearts and the upcoming Final Fantasy Versus XIII composer, Yoko Shimomura.
No date has been set for European territories, but we'll keep you updated as soon as we know more. In the meantime, you can take a look at the first footage for the English version of Radiant Historia below!
