Deus Ex: Human Revolution Augmented Edition Announced

Square-Enix Europe sent out notice today detailing the upgraded version of their upcoming sequel, Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

Fans looking for a little more can purchase the Augmented Edition of the game for only an extra $10. In addition to premium packaging, this collector's edition comes complete with the soundtrack to the game, a 40 page artbook, a motion comic, and a DVD containing the making of the game.

For those in North America, select retailers will be giving away a bonus for preorders. GameStop will be providing the Explosive Mission Pack which includes a Linebacker G-87 multi-shot grenade launcher, M-28 Utility Remote-Detonated Explosive Device, an auto unlock device, as well as a new playable mission featuring a cameo by a character from the original Deus Ex game. All other retailers will be offering the Tactical Enhancement Pack, which includes the Huntsman Silverback Double-Barrel Shotgun, the Longsword Whisperhead Extreme Range Sniper Rifle, as well as extra in-game currency. 

For those in Europe, the Augmented Edition comes complete with these bonuses in-package.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution will be available on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in early 2011.
