The Surge 2 launches on September 24

Deck13 and Focus Home Interactive have announced that The Surge 2 will launch on September 24 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game's Steam page has also been opened.

The Surge is an action RPG franchise that focuses on melee combat and exploration. Looting enemies by targeting specific parts of their body and upgrading your suit/weapons play a key part in the game. New to the Surge 2 is a character creator, instead of a storyline set character, where players can create their own male or female avatar.

Pre-orders of the game will net players a bonus URBN gear pack, which includes a few extra weapons and armor for your player character.
