The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Announced, Dated, Videoed

The guys at Bethesda Softworks have announced what they've been secretly working on ever since Fallout 3 shipped - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

The trailer aired will require us to comb through it a little more closely than we've currently been able to for details - but for now take solace in this - the game already has a locked-in release date of the 11th November 2011. That's right - 11/11/11.

The title will see players travel throgh the land of Skyrim, the home of the Nord race from the series. Expect rugged terrain - Skyrim is a mountainous, rough region, with five of the highest mountains in the whole of Tamriel.
