Code Vein - Pre-order Bonuses & Deluxe Edition Outline; Behind the Scenes video #2

Today, Bandai Namco opened pre-orders for the Digital Deluxe version of Code Vein. The game's Steam store page has also been opened.

Bandai Namco has also released the second Behind the Scenes video for Code Vein, following the first such video shown in May.

While Bandai Namco has detailed various pre-order and bonus goodies for Code Vein last year, before the game was delayed, we'd thought we'd take the opportunity now to outline all the bonus purchase options for the game.

Code Vein is set to release on September 27 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.

North America - Code Vein Standard Physical PlayStation 4 and Xbox One Pre-Orders

Pre-orders of a standard disc version of the game on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One will offer players the following:

• God Eater collaboration weapon set
• Venous Claw Weapon
• PlayStation 4 theme (PS4 only)

Purchases made at Bandai Namco's Store (NA) will also receive an exclusive set of pins.

Europe - Code Vein Standard Physical PlayStation 4 and Xbox One Pre-Orders

European retailers state the following pre-order bonuses:

Pre-order Code Vein today and receive the following exclusive items in-game at launch:

• Code Vein x God Eater: The Blanched Greatsword, Cerulean Spear and Crimson Longsword; three of the fan favorite weapons from the successful Bandai Namco’s series God Eater are making their way to Code Vein.
• Blood Veil Ogre “VENOUS CLAW”: Venous Claw is an exclusive type of Blood Veil Ogre; a devastating short-range weapon that’ll prove a Revenant’s best friend in their fight against the lost.
• Accessory Set: Coming with a brand-new blood code “Harbinger” for special character stats; exclusive communication stamps for multiplayer’s coordination and customization options to make one’s Revenant truly shine.

It seems compared to North America, European pre-orders come with an additional accessory set.

Code Vein Digital Standard Pre-Orders (PSN, Xbox Live, Steam)

Digital storefronts list the following bonuses for the standard digital edition in North America and Europe.

Pre-order now to receive the following bonuses:

• GE 3 Weapon Collaboration
• Blood Veil Ogre: Venous Claw
• Reserved Bloodkin Set [simply labeled Accessory Set on European PSN]

It's not clear if the Reserved Bloodkin Set is the same as the Accessory Set offered in European physical console pre-orders.

Code Vein Digital Deluxe Edition Pre-Order (Steam, PS4, XB1)

Pre-orders for the digital deluxe edition for Code Vein includes similar items to the standard pre-order bonuses, as well as the game's Season Pass. This version is available on Steam, PlayStation Network, & Xbox Live. (North American links given)

Pre-order now to receive the following bonuses:

• Reserved Bloodkin Set 

The Deluxe Edition includes the following:

• Full Game
• Season Pass

Bandai Namco in a press release today also offered slightly more information on what exactly is in the Season Pass.

Season Pass DLC includes:

• Mia’s white costume
• Astrea Blood Code unlock: Gift Extension skill, Lighting Spike skill, Guardian Aid skill, Torchbearer skill
• Additional DLC: Abyss of the Thunder, Abyss of the Fire, and Abyss of the Ice

Europe - Code Vein Day 1 Edition

The Day 1 Edition is available on Bandai Namco's Store (UK), and offers the same pre-order bonuses as the European standard edition, with a steelbook case. It seems to be priced at £64.99

Europe - Code Vein Collector's Edition

In Europe, a Collector's Edition of Code Vein is available, but price and retailer availability will vary. You can find more information on Bandai Namco's page. This Edition has not been announced for North America. Bandai Namco announced a similar bundle at Anime Expo 2019, see below.

Code Vein Collector’s Edition includes:

• Code Vein full game on PS4 or Xbox One
• A 17cm figurine of character Mia Karnstein complete with her Bayonet and signature Stinger weapon.
• Code Vein collector box

Digital content:

• Code Vein’s Original Soundtrack including over 20 tracks.
• Code Vein’s Original Artbook for an exclusive peak at production sketches, concept art and guest artwork.
• In-game customization set: Insatiable Bloodthirst.

North America - Code Vein Revenant Bundle

The Revenant Bundle costs $99.99 and is exclusive to Bandai Namco's store [PS4, XB1]. It includes a copy of the game, metal case, Mia Karnstein figurine, digital soundtrack, and digital art book.
