Release Date Revealed For The Bard's Tale IV: Director's Cut

The Bard's Tale IV: Director's Cut will be making its console debut for both PS4 and Xbox One on August 27, 2019, with retail console copies available the next week on September 6. The updated content featured in the re-release will also be available as a free update to PC users who already own the original game. 

The Director's Cut aims not just to introduce the game to home consoles, but also heavily tweak and expand the experience and add new content to make it worthwhile to those who have already played. 

RPGSite reviewed The Bard's Tale IV when it originally released, giving it a 7 out of 10. We thought it had a layered battle system that was mostly held back by performance issues. Hopefully this re-release gives it a new coat of paint and allows more people to experience it in a more polished state.
