New Code Vein screenshots explain Spa features and Louis' Blood Code Prometheus
Bandai Namco has published more new screenshots for Code Vein, which will be finally released at the end of this month. This new set of screenshots shows off features in the Spa facility and also Gift skills of Louis' Blood Code Prometheus.
The Spa is not just a place where people come to relax after returning from grueling explorations and battles, as there are also a couple of gameplay features available here. You can learn more lore in the game by sorting keywords from memories of past explorations while dipping in the hot spring.
There is also a feature where you can retrieve half of the Haze dropped when you die in battle. This may prove to be a safer alternative if you die at a very dangerous place; you can opt to return and take a dip in the Spa rather than to die trying to reach the same place and lose all of the experience points.
This set also includes explanations of Prometheus, Louis' Blood Code which can also be used by the player after he gives it to you in the storyline. This Blood Code provides a steady battle power with a bit of nimbleness, and it also has Gifts related to evasion. Some of the examples are listed right below:
- Phantom Assault: Hides your body like mist and performs a leaping attack. Can be used with One-Handed Sword, Halberd, and Bayonet
- Burning Crash: A rapid fire of instantly created flame bullets that will flinch enemies
Code Vein will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 27. A demo of the game should be available on the PS4 and Xbox One tomorrow.
