Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition announced for Nintendo Switch, coming in 2020
Capping off today's Direct stream, Nintendo revealed that Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition is coming to Nintendo Switch in 2020. The Nintendo eShop page is here.
This isn't a simple upscale though, the character models have been upgraded to ones looking more in line as what was seen in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. It also looks like some content that was cut for the original release might find its way into the Definitive Edition, though we'll have to wait for the official details.
You can check out the announcement trailer and some screenshots & artwork below.
MONOLITHSOFT’s epic Xenoblade Chronicles game, which originally launched in 2012 on the Wii system, is destined to be reborn on Nintendo Switch as Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition.
