Cube World to see a release on Steam soon
Picroma has announced that Cube World will be released on Steam later this year, aiming for a late September/October date. The store page can be found here.
Cube World is an indie voxel-based action RPG set in a procedurally-generated world made up of cubes. This unexpected update comes about six years after the game's awkward paid Alpha launch in 2013, where promises of continual updates were followed up sporadically at best; sometimes whole years would pass between rare updates.
It seems that, finally, a full release is around the corner, though we'll have to see how the game has changed since 2013. The developer has also stated that those who own the alpha version will get Steam keys.
