Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance First Trailer
Sure, you won't understand a lick of it unless you keep up on your Moon lingo, but today we show you the first footage from Square-Enix's upcoming Kingdom Hearts title for Nintendo's soon-to-be-released 3DS portable gaming console.
All of your favorite canon characters make their return, including the epic bromance that is Sora and Riku. This time, however, you will actually get to play as Riku and take part in some pretty amazing combat techniques and platforming maneuvers. The story is entirely separate from the main thread of the series, and features Disney worlds that weren't included in the other entries, such as The Hunchback of Notre Dame. It will take place after the events of Kingdom Hearts coded, and Tetsuya Nomura announced that it will tie into Kingdom Hearts III in some manner. Now, enough italics -- onto the trailer!
Now, imagine all of that, but in 3D! Daaaaaaaaamn. Sure, it STILL may not be Kingdom Hearts III, but if you were going to pick up the handheld anyway, at least you'll feel the safety in knowing that you'll have an RPG worth trying out when it comes out later this year. We'll try and get you a better quality video in the meantime.
Update: We have for you the newly-uploaded HD edition of the KH3D trailer. Enjoy!
By the way, anyone else find Mickey's Japanese voice frickin' hilarious?
