Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris launches on May 22, 2020
Bandai Namco has announced that Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris will release on May 22, 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in North America and Europe. Pre-orders for the game will include four additional costumes that won the game's pre-release design contest. Images of these can be found in the gallery alongside a new set of screenshots.

The game will focus on Kirito and Eugeo’s quest to find their long lost friend Alice. As they travel through the underworld, players will discover never before seen locations such as the Mildea Plains or the Vizeah Valle. They will face many foes during their adventure, including the most fearsome soldiers of the cathedral – the Integrity Knights. Three of those knights have been confirmed to appear in the game:

- Deusolbert Synthesis Seven
- Eldrie Synthesis Thirty-one
