The Witcher 2 "designed with console in mind"
The team over at CD Projekt behind the upcoming PC RPG The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings has been built with "console in mind" according to new comments made by the developer to gaming website IGN.
Chatting to the site, CD Projekt RED's Jan Bartkowicz said "You can play The Witcher 2 with a joypad - it's implemented. The whole interface is designed with console in mind, in fact," adding that the game is "the first console project we would like to do."
He goes on to confirm that a console port is in the works in-house for unannounced platforms and is actually partially playable. Despite that, CD Projekt isn't confirming any platforms or even that the console port will actually be released - they want to get the PC version out first, and that's due to hit in May.
