The Legend of Heroes: Zero no Kiseki Kai and Ao no Kiseki Kai coming to PlayStation 4 in Japan in Spring 2020
Nihon Falcom will finally bring the Crossbell titles in The Legends of Heroes series to PlayStation 4. They have today revealed Zero no Kiseki Kai and Ao no Kiseki Kai will be released in Japan in Spring 2020.
These RPGs were first available on PlayStation Portable in 2010 and 2011 respectively, and the enhanced Evolution versions were then released on PlayStation Vita in 2012 and 2014; all of these prior releases were only available in Japan.
Similar to the Trails of Cold Steel I and II remasters on PS4, Zero and Ao no Kiseki Kai will add a High-Speed Mode where you can press a button to speed up event and field movements by 2x, and battles by 4x. Battle animations such as special attacks can also now be skipped. Falcom does not only upgrade the quality of audio, graphics, and UI, but they will also bring the frame rate up to 60 frames per second.
An English localization for these RPGs has yet to be announced. But hopefully, these PS4 remasters will give some hope for a localization, especially since Falcom also revealed a new title in the series that will also include the Crossbell characters.
