Falcom reveals The Legend of Heroes: Hajimari no Kiseki, coming to PlayStation 4 in Japan in Summer 2020
Nihon Falcom has today revealed The Legend of Heroes: Hajimari no Kiseki, a brand-new game in their long-running flagship RPG series that will be released for PlayStation 4 in Japan in Summer 2020. This game also marks the 15th anniversary of the Kiseki / Trails series ever since the first title Trails in the Sky FC was released in 2004.
Hajimari no Kiseki will take place in the continent of Zemuria. The main highlight feature in this new game will be the Cross Story System, where players are able at any time to move between three different perspectives that happen in the same timeframe. This game will have three protagonists:
- The Hero (Rean Schwarzer from the Trails of Cold Steel series)
- The Liberator (Lloyd Bannings from the Crossbell series)
- The Hermit
Other than that, Hajimari no Kiseki will have over 50 playable characters including brand-new ones. There will be also Episode scenarios that delve deeper into the backgrounds of each character, and many more new gameplay systems are also teased.
As this news is still fresh even in Japan, an English localization for Hajimari no Kiseki has yet to be announced.
