UK retailers out The 3rd Birthday "Twisted Edition"

Several major UK retailers have listed what appears to be a special edition of The 3rd Birthday titled the "Twisted Edition."

Square Enix previously told us that there would be a special edition for The 3rd Birthday in Europe in a Press Release about their upcoming PSP releases back in December - and it appears the retailers have revealed the name ahead of the appointed time. Square Enix told us they'd be making an announcement with more details "soon."

Back then, Square Enix Europe said that "Full details of forthcoming Special Editions for Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together, Dissidia 012 Duodecim Final Fantasy and The 3rd Birthday will be revealed soon along with specific release dates for all four games."

It's worth noting that one of the websites listing the Twisted Edition, Play.com, lists March 25th as a potential date for The 3rd Birthday. Unlike most placeholder dates retailers use this is rather specific and also falls on a Friday - new release day for games in Europe.

In The 3rd Birthday the Twisted are the malicious monsters that you have to battle throughout the story. The game is a spiritual successor to the Parasite Eve series, and is Parasite Eve 3 in all but name.
