Persona 5 Scramble - Navi's explanation trailer has a sneak peek on New Game+ and Risky Difficulty
Atlus has published another new trailer for Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers. Unlike the last five Morgana Report trailers, this one has Futaba "Navi" Sakura trying to explain the game's features in Japanese within three minutes. One of the highlights that had not been shown in the earlier Morgana trailers is a sneak peek on New Game+ and Risky difficulty level.
According to Famitsu and Dengeki PlayStation magazines that were published last week in Japan, some of the optional Requests that you'll take will have you fight against powerful enemies. If you manage to beat them, you will be able to unlock Persona fusions that produce them. Beating all of these strong enemies through requests will eventually lead you to a difficult fight against series staple The Reaper. If you are able to beat it, you will unlock New Game+ where you can carry over levels and items to a new playthrough.
In New Game+, you will also be able to fuse more Personas, and Wolf (Zenkichi Hasegawa) will become available to control right at the beginning from the first Shibuya Jail area. When starting New Game+, you are also given a choice to start at Risky difficulty. Enemies in this difficulty will be drastically stronger, but it will also increase the drop rate for stat-increasing items. If you choose this difficulty, you won't be able to move to other difficulty levels in the middle of the playthrough.
Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers will be released first in Japan for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on February 20. A demo will be available on both PlayStation Store and Nintendo eShop in Japan tomorrow on February 6. An English localization for this game has still yet to be announced.
