Dark Souls coming to Europe in 2011
2011 is starting to look pretty damn packed with RPGs. Namco Bandai Europe has confirmed that Dark Souls join the likes of Mass Effect 3, Dragon Age II and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim as a 2011 release in Europe.
Dark Souls is the spiritual successor to the awesome Demon's Souls, which we named as our RPG of the Year back in 2009. It puts gamers back into the deeply physics-based gameplay from Demon's Souls where one foot wrong on a flight of stairs will see you topple into the jaws of a horrifying beast and leave you screaming at the screen. But it's addictively fun, trust us.
The annoucnement by Namco Bandai Europe follows on from the confirmation from the US arm of the company last night. This was then followed by the first screenshots, artwork and a trailer of the upcoming title.
We've thrown the screenshots below for you to check out, but remember that you can see all the Dark Souls Screenshots, Artwork and that Announcement Trailer over in the Media Vault!
