Dissidia 012 Duodecim Final Fantasy gets European Special Edition, Date

Square Enix Europe have announced the Release Date and Special Edition of Dissidia 012 [duodecim] Final Fantasy today.

The Final Fantasy fighting game spin-off will land in Europe on the 25th March 2011, 3 days after the North American release. Europe will also get a special edition of the game that's to be called the "Legacy Edition". 

The Legacy Edition will include a number of pack-in items including exclusive downloadable costumes for Final Fantasy VII's Tifa and Final Fantasy VIII's Squall as well as six 'Deluxe' character Lithograph Art Prints featuring the artwork of Tetsuya Nomura. 

The game itself will come packaged in a special White Plastic PSP box and will also come in a cardboard sleeve that features high-quality artwork of the heroes and heroines of Dissidia. There's also a voucher for 50% off the digital version of Final Fantasy I for Playstation Network included. There'll be a normal edition of the game as well, unlike The 3rd Birthday's Twisted Edition, which is the only SKU.

In addition to all this, Square Enix will also be running a character tournament where they set up battles between characters the fans vote for in Dissidia 012 and post the video up on the official website of the game.
