Original: Bandai Namco has revealed that Doraemon: Story of Seasons will be released for PlayStation 4 on July 30. This is the collaboration game between the farming game series Story of SeasonsĀ and the globally popular manga and anime title Doraemon. It also marks the first-ever Story of Seasons title to be released on the PlayStation 4 after the split with Harvest Moon. Other than Japan, an English release has also been confirmed for Southeast Asia.
In the latest Weekly Famitsu magazine, Koji Nakagawa from Bandai Namco mentioned that they received a lot of requests for a PS4 version ever since the first reveal on Nintendo Switch, and they started working on it after they completed the international localization for Switch and PC via Steam. This port is still done with the same team as the earlier releases; published by Bandai Namco, produced by Marvelous, and developed by Brownies.
Just like the earlier platforms, purchasing early copies of Doraemon: Story of Seasons on the PS4 will entitle users with exclusive bonuses such as an extra set of seeds and furniture set to replicate Nobita's room.
