Space opera parody action RPG Minimal Affect announced
Enad Global 7 has announced Minimal Affect, a parody action RPG that clearly riffs on the likes of Mass Effect and other space opera sci-fi universes. The game is set to release for PC and "major consoles" in 2021. It is being published by Sold Out and developed by Toadman Studios, which are both a part of Enad Global 7.

STOCKHOLM – April 23, 2020 – Go boldly into absurdity! Enad Global 7 (EG7) today announced Minimal Affect, a comical sci-fi action RPG packed with heroics and humor developed by Toadman Studios, coming to most major consoles and Windows PC in 2021. Created by an experienced team of longtime sci-fi fanatics, the title is a love letter to a wildly popular entertainment genre, and aims to deliver an authentic, but unexpected, “space epic” with a diverse crew of dubious characters.
“Minimal Affect is our homage to some of the greatest sci-fi RPGs, movies, and shows that we absolutely love,” said Rasmus Davidsson, Creative Director on Minimal Affect. “While the story is ridiculous, the gameplay certainly is not - this is a fully fledged action-RPG created in the art-style of adult animation you know and love. Minimal Affect is a story-driven space adventure with a colorful cast of characters on a quest to save the galaxy once again and get into a LOT of space alien combat. Developed by Toadman Studios and published by Sold Out– both companies in the EG7 group, Minimal Affect will launch in North America and Europe in 2021.
